This Privacy Policy explains how Zenkify LLC (“Zenkify,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, stores, protects, and otherwise processes personal information in connection with www.zenkify.com and any related pages, domains, communications, applications, community features, booking tools, payment-related tools, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”).
By accessing or using the Platform, creating an account, submitting information, creating a practitioner profile, contacting a practitioner, booking a session, joining a mailing list, or otherwise interacting with the Platform, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy.
Zenkify operates from the United States but may have Users and Practitioners in multiple countries. If you use the Platform from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where our service providers operate.
This Privacy Policy applies to personal information we collect directly from Users and Practitioners, automatically through the Platform, and through service providers acting on our behalf.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to information collected directly by independent Practitioners outside of the Platform, to third-party websites or services, or to information processed by third parties under their own privacy notices.
We may collect identifiers and contact information such as name, email address, telephone number, mailing address, country, time zone, account credentials, and similar information.
We may collect practitioner profile information such as biography, modalities, certifications, areas of focus, years of practice, profile photos, social media links, website links, rates, availability, languages, business information, and other self-reported content.
We may collect booking, transaction, payout, messaging, event, and support information such as appointment requests, booking details, communications, customer support inquiries, transaction status, payout status, and records of interactions with the Platform.
We may collect limited payment-related information, but payment card data is generally processed by third-party payment processors. Zenkify does not store full payment card numbers unless expressly stated for a specific feature.
We may collect technical and device information such as IP address, browser type, device identifiers, operating system, referral URLs, page views, clickstream data, time stamps, cookie identifiers, and analytics data.
We may receive or infer user-preference and marketing information such as language preferences, subscription preferences, campaign source data, and how you heard about Zenkify.
Users and Practitioners may voluntarily submit messages or other content that include wellness-related or health-related information. Please do not submit unnecessary sensitive or highly confidential information through ordinary web forms, direct messages, or email.
Zenkify is not intended to function as a hospital, medical record system, clinical patient portal, crisis service, or emergency communication service. Zenkify asks Users and Practitioners not to upload unnecessary highly sensitive information, including detailed diagnoses, medication lists, psychiatric records, government ID numbers, or financial account numbers, unless expressly requested for a specific lawful purpose and appropriate safeguards are provided.
If you voluntarily provide health-related, wellness-related, or other sensitive information in communications or profile materials, you acknowledge that Zenkify may process that information as necessary to operate the Platform, route communications, provide support, investigate complaints, enforce our Terms, comply with law, and protect rights, safety, and security.
We collect information directly from you when you create an account, complete a form, submit a practitioner profile, contact a practitioner, request or book a session, make or receive a payment, sign up for updates, send us a message, respond to a survey, or otherwise interact with the Platform.
We collect information automatically through cookies, pixels, tags, log files, analytics tools, and similar technologies when you browse or use the Platform.
We may collect information from service providers and third parties such as payment processors, scheduling providers, analytics providers, email providers, fraud-prevention vendors, social platforms, advertising partners, and business tools used to operate the Platform.
We may receive updated or corrected information from Practitioners, Users, public sources, or other lawful sources where reasonably necessary to maintain accurate records, investigate complaints, or improve the Platform.
We may use personal information to create and manage accounts and practitioner profiles; provide the Platform and related features; route messages and booking requests; process transactions and payouts; authenticate users; provide support; personalize user experience; communicate with you; send service notices, updates, newsletters, or promotional materials; perform analytics; improve the Platform; prevent fraud; enforce our Terms; investigate complaints; protect the safety, rights, and property of Zenkify and others; and comply with legal obligations.
We may use profile information to display practitioner listings publicly on the Platform and in marketing, directory, promotional, community, search, discovery, and platform-operations contexts consistent with the permissions granted under our Terms.
We may use information to review compliance with Platform rules, including review of prohibited health claims, deceptive statements, abusive conduct, credential issues, safety concerns, payment issues, privacy concerns, and other policy violations.
We may share information with service providers and vendors that support the operation of the Platform, including hosting providers, payment processors, email and messaging providers, analytics providers, customer support tools, scheduling tools, fraud-prevention vendors, document providers, cloud services, and similar vendors under appropriate contractual protections.
We may share information with independent Practitioners when a User contacts, books, or otherwise engages with that Practitioner through the Platform.
We may share public-facing practitioner profile information with the public, search engines, social media platforms, marketing channels, and other users of the Platform.
We may share information with law enforcement, regulators, courts, counsel, insurers, auditors, or other parties where required by law, subpoena, court order, legal process, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or property, investigate misconduct, or enforce our Terms.
We may share information in connection with an actual or proposed merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, bankruptcy, dissolution, or similar transaction.
We may share information with your consent or at your direction.
Zenkify and its service providers may use cookies, pixels, tags, SDKs, local storage, web beacons, and similar technologies to remember preferences, keep users logged in, understand traffic and usage patterns, measure campaign performance, detect fraud, improve the Platform, and support advertising or remarketing activities where permitted by law.
We may use third-party analytics and advertising tools that collect device and browsing information. These third parties may set or access cookies or other tracking technologies subject to their own terms and privacy notices.
We may use hashed identifiers or similar audience-building tools with advertising platforms to create or measure custom audiences, subject to applicable law.
You can control certain cookies through your browser or device settings, but disabling cookies may affect Platform functionality.
Payments on or through the Platform may be handled by third-party payment processors such as Stripe or other providers. Those processors collect, store, and process payment information under their own terms and privacy notices. Zenkify does not control third-party payment processor practices and is not responsible for their systems, security, or policies.
Zenkify may receive limited payment-related metadata such as transaction identifiers, payment status, last four digits of a payment card, payout status, refund status, or chargeback information as needed to operate the Platform and provide support.
Because Zenkify operates in the United States and uses service providers that may operate in different countries, your personal information may be transferred across borders. By using the Platform, you acknowledge and, where legally required, consent to such transfers.
When required by applicable law, Zenkify will take commercially reasonable steps to use lawful transfer mechanisms or contractual protections for cross-border transfers. However, Zenkify does not guarantee that the Platform is lawful or appropriate for use in every country or jurisdiction.
Depending on where you are located, applicable law may provide you with rights regarding access, correction, deletion, portability, objection, restriction, withdrawal of consent, or complaint to a regulator. Zenkify will review and respond to rights requests in accordance with applicable law and subject to reasonable identity verification, legal exceptions, and operational constraints.
Nothing in this Privacy Policy is intended to waive any non-waivable rights that may apply under the law of your place of residence.
Zenkify retains personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide the Platform, maintain business and legal records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, detect fraud, satisfy tax, accounting, insurance, audit, and legal obligations, and protect rights and safety.
Retention periods may vary based on the category of information, the nature of the relationship, the sensitivity of the information, whether a complaint or dispute exists, whether an account remains active, and legal requirements.
Where feasible and appropriate, Zenkify may delete, anonymize, de-identify, or aggregate information when it is no longer reasonably necessary to retain it.
Zenkify uses commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. However, no website, platform, storage system, email system, or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You are responsible for protecting your account credentials, using strong passwords, limiting access to your devices, and notifying Zenkify promptly of any suspected unauthorized access or security incident related to your account.
Practitioner profiles and certain related materials are intended to be publicly visible. Information you choose to include in a public profile, public testimonial, public event listing, public post, or other public-facing content may be seen, copied, indexed, archived, or shared by others.
Zenkify is not responsible for how third parties use publicly visible information after it is made public by the User or Practitioner.
The Platform is not directed to children under the age of eighteen (18), and Zenkify does not knowingly permit children under eighteen to create accounts or use the Platform independently. If Zenkify learns that personal information was collected from a child in violation of applicable law, Zenkify will take reasonable steps to delete such information.
If you believe a child has provided personal information to Zenkify inappropriately, contact hello@zenkify.com.
You may update certain account information through your account, if available, or by contacting Zenkify.
You may opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in the email or by contacting us. Transactional or service-related messages may still be sent as needed to operate the Platform.
You may request deletion of your account or personal information by contacting hello@zenkify.com. Zenkify may retain certain information as permitted or required by law, for security, fraud prevention, recordkeeping, dispute resolution, enforcement, or other legitimate business purposes.
Some browsers offer ‘Do Not Track’ settings. Because there is no universally accepted standard for Do Not Track signals, Zenkify does not currently respond to such signals in a standardized way.
Zenkify may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version becomes effective when posted, unless a later date is stated. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date of an updated Privacy Policy constitutes acknowledgment of the updated Policy.
If you have questions, requests, or complaints regarding this Privacy Policy or Zenkify’s privacy practices, contact: hello@zenkify.com.
